Introducing Women’s Hope for Change
Established in 2008, we focus on women’s rights.

About WHFC
HFC is a women led organization which was established with the background of the founder who was traumatized by her father’s decision of marrying three times, a situation that affected the entire family negatively, especially the mother. The organization with support from the Mchinji District Council mobilized a group of women passionate about advocating for women’s and children’s rights, with a special emphasis on the girl child. The organization is affiliated with the Council for Non-Governmental Organizations (CONGOMA), the NGO Regulatory Authority (NGO-RA), the NGO Gender Coordination Network (NGOGCN) and the Civil Society Network. WHFC was formed in response to community demand for women’s advocacy on women’s rights in Mchinji District. The organization also provides paralegal and other support services to victimized women and girls.
